HUUB Catch Up Pole
Swimmers and triathletes are probably all familiar with the catch-up exercise.
....but do you know why your trainer asks you to do a remedial exercise?
What's its purpose?
Are you doing it right?
HUUB has teamed up with Dave Tonge to create an innovative new swimming tool called the «Catch-Up Pole».
The catching pole allows the swimmer to enter the water in line with his shoulders. This prevents them from crossing the median line and «snaking» through the water.
It features adjustable buoyancy discs that can be aligned to suit the swimmer's shoulder width, helping to keep the swimmer above water during exercise.
The pole is excellent for creating distance per stroke and preventing swimmers from being upwind in the water. It reduces the number of strokes per 25 m and slows down the rhythm of the stroke to enable a relaxed, controlled swim. It helps hips and shoulders rotate together to create a perfectly timed free swim.
